More about
The Heather Network

The Heather Network has moved dance floors in Toronto, Berlin, Nova Scotia, Vancouver and of course in her base city of Edmonton. Her sound is inspired by thousands of hours spent dancing in clubs, festivals, warehouses, lofts, open airs and event spaces in Toronto, Montreal, the UK, Europe and Australia. The Heather Network picked up headphones and began DJing in 2024 shortly after she moved to Edmonton, taking a DJ course taught by Yelrihs when she was teaching at NVMA. Since then, The Heather Network has played out 100+ times and counting.

The Heather Network was the name of Heather’s blog and promotion brand that reviewed and listed electronic music events in Toronto spanning house, techno, dubstep, drum and bass and more from 2012 to 2014. When it came time to choose an artist name, The Heather Network was the obvious and familiar choice.

In addition to DJing, The Heather Network organizes, promotes and lists events in the Edmonton electronic music scene she now calls home. The Heather Network is co-founder of School Board Events ↗ and founder of electricyeg.com ↗.
